Iranian forces raid homes in Oshnavieh and Piranshahr, arrest three men

Vahed Boroumand and Ezzeddin Pasopish, two Kurdish residents of Piranshahr, along with Seyed Anvar Alavi, a resident of Oshnavieh, were arrested in separate incidents after Iranian forces raided their homes and transferred them to undisclosed locations.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Iranian forces stormed the home of Vahed Boroumand in Piranshahr on Sunday, April 26, 2026, without presenting a warrant, and arrested him.
Meanwhile, officers raided the family home of Ezzeddin Pasopish and detained him.
Separately, Seyed Anvar Alavi, a resident of Oshnavieh, was arrested by Iranian forces in recent days without a warrant. His current whereabouts, legal status, and any charges against him remain unknown.
Vahed Boroumand is married and the father of two children. Hengaw has learned that during his arrest, officers created an atmosphere of fear, searched the house, and confiscated several personal belongings.
The reasons for these arrests, any charges brought against them, and their exact places of detention remain unknown.
