Mamand Khodadadi held without charge as whereabouts remain unknown

Mamand Khodadadi, a Kurdish man from Naqadeh, is being held incommunicado more than a week after his arrest, with no information on his fate, whereabouts, or any charges against him.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Khodadadi was arrested in early May 2026 by security forces without a warrant. Despite repeated follow-ups by his family, security institutions have refused to provide any clear response regarding his situation.
Informed sources report that Khodadadi has been denied access to a lawyer, as well as phone contact and family visits throughout his detention.
The reasons for his arrest and the identity of the detaining authority remain unclear.
