Baloch man Iraj Bamari killed by direct fire from Iranian government forces in Delgan

A Baloch man identified as Iraj Bamari, a resident of Delgan County in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan province, was killed after being shot by Iranian government forces. He is the 14th Baluch civilian killed by direct fire from state forces since the beginning of 2026.
According to information obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Iraj Bamari, 28, was fatally shot on the evening of Thursday, June 4, 2026, after government forces raided the location where he was staying in Delgan County.
According to the Baloch news outlet Haalvsh, the incident occurred at around 10 p.m. Government forces opened direct fire on Bamari during the raid, causing fatal injuries. Sources report that he had previously been sought by authorities in connection with a tribal dispute.
State-affiliated media reported that security forces had killed a wanted individual during a security operation in southern Sistan and Baluchestan province but did not disclose the identity of the person killed.
According to data recorded by the Statistics and Documentation Center of the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at least 14 Baloch civilians have been killed by direct fire from Iranian government forces during the first five months of 2026.
