Iranian security forces violently detain Javad Behdad in Khorramabad

Iranian security forces detained a Lor man, identified as Javad Behdad, at his home in the Khorramabad and took him to an undisclosed location.

According to information obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Behdad was detained on the evening of July 7, 2026, when security forces raided his home in Khorramabad, Lorestan province, without presenting a warrant.

Sources familiar with the case said security forces used severe physical violence while detaining Behdad, causing fear and distress among his family members and relatives who were present.

The reasons for Behdad’s detention, any charges against him and his exact whereabouts remain known.
