Khaleq Haghighatkhah and Mohammad Mohammadizadeh arrested by Iranian forces

Iranian security forces have arrested two Kurdish men, Khaleq Haghighatkhah from Oshnavieh (Shno) and Mohammad Mohammadizadeh from Divandarreh, in recent days and transferred them to undisclosed locations.
Based on information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Haghighatkhah, from the village of Siawan in Oshnavieh, was arrested by security forces on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, without a warrant and with the use of violence.
Separately, IRGC Intelligence forces raided the workplace of Mohammadizadeh, a 37-year-old man from Divandarreh, on Sunday, September 13, and arrested him without a warrant before transferring him to an undisclosed location. He is married and the father of young twins.
Authorities have not disclosed the reasons for their arrests or their current whereabouts.
