Two Kurdish men Yaser Hosseini and Mohsen Asadi arrested by Intelligence Ministry forces in Kamyaran

Yaser Hosseini and Mohsen Asadi, two Kurdish men from Kamyaran, have been arrested by Intelligence Ministry forces and taken to undisclosed locations.

According to information obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Mohsen Asadi, 35, was arrested by Intelligence Ministry forces in Kamyaran on the afternoon of September 17, 2026. He is married and a father of two.

Around the same time, Intelligence Ministry forces arrested Yaser Hosseini, 28, a native of Lown village who resides in Kamyaran. Sources familiar with the case said force was used during his arrest.

The sources said several Intelligence Ministry agents traveling in unmarked vehicles raided Hosseini’s home appliance store in Shafei Square and arrested him without presenting a warrant before taking him to an undisclosed location.

No precise information is available regarding the reasons for the arrests, any charges against Hosseini and Asadi, or their exact places of detention.
