3 Kurdish citizens, including two students, detained in Sardasht— Iranian Kurdistan

Hengaw : 3 Kurdish citizens have been detained by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Rabat sub-district of Sardasht district ,West Azerbaijan (Urmia) province in Iranian Kurdistan. 

 According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization on Saturday, January 9, 2021, the Iranian Intelligence forces in  Sardasht detained  3 Kurdish citizens in Rabat, 2  of whom were brothers, identified as Farhad Musapour and Fereydoun Musapour  and Bahman Yousefzadeh were detained  and transferred to an unknown location.


 Bahman Yousefzadeh, a resident of Sisar  village, was a student at Payame Noor University in Mahabad, and after his arrest, security forces incepted and searched his father's house and confiscated his personal belongings.

 Farhad Musapour, a student and English teacher, and his brother Fereydoun Musapour were also detained  at the Rizman English School and  their personal belongings were confiscated.

 As of preparation of this report , the reason or reasons for the detention of these 3 Kurdish citizens and the charges against them are not yet clear.
