Two Brothers Arrested in Kurdistan

Hengaw: Two brothers from Mahabad, West Azarbaijan Province, have been arrested by Iranian security forces with their fate remaining unclear up to the moment.

According to the reports received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, the Ettelaat forces (Secret Service) in Mahabad arrested two brothers named Saman Ghazali and Salar Ghazali, and transferred them to an unknown place.

Two weeks have passed since their arrest, and yet their whereabout is unknown.

An informed source revealed that the Ettelaat forces arrested Saman and Salar Ghazali over alleged cooperation with a Kurdish opposition party.
