A young citizen was injured in a landmine explosion in Urmia, Iran

Hengaw: A young man from "Sarv" district of Urmia, identified as Habib Hatami Sinaabadi,18, was seriously injured in a landmine explosion on Wednesday, April 27, 2022. 
 
Hengaw sources in Urmia reported that Habib Hatami Sinaabadi, a resident of Koran village, was severely wounded in hands and eyes while grazing cattle near Nojavan village. 
He was taken consequently to Khomeini Hospital in Urmia for treatment, and his physical condition is reported to be critical.  
 
It is worth mentioning that Sarv border region in north west of Iran is common with Turkey border, so the explosions of these landmines has nothing to do with the eight-year Iran-Iraq war, and they are probably the new mines planted by IRGC in the recent years to fight Kurdish parties.
