A citizen from Kamyaran and a resident of Sanandaj, identified as Khaled Ghorbani, 26, was arrested by the Intelligence services on Wednesday, June 1, 2022.
According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, Khaled Ghorbani was arrested in the city of Kamyaran by the Intelligence services without providing any warrant and transferred to the detention center of this security institution in Sanandaj.
As of this writing, detailed information on the reasons for the arrest and the charges against Khaled Ghorbani and also his fate and whereabouts are not available.
According to statistics recorded at the Statistics and Documentation Center of Hengaw Human Rights Organization, in May 2022, at least 36 Kurdish citizens were arrested by the security agencies of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
