Hengaw: Three Kurdish Kolbar Victims of Mine Explosions in Marivan.

According to a report from the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, two Kolbars died and one was injured from a mine explosion on Tuesday September 25. The incident took place in Darvaran village, Marivan.

Hengaw report that Ali Naderi from Divandarreh and Abdollah Mohammadzadeh, both from Marivan, died in the incident. Hamid Baincho from (Sna) Sananda reportedly lost a leg.

During the past decade, the Iranian Rvolutionary Guard Corps has been planting mines in Iran’s Kurdistan area to prevent traffic. This has cost many deaths and injuries to Kolbar people.

According to Hengaw's statistics center, in the past six months, two Kurdish Kolbars have lost their lives and yet another eight have been wounded from mine explosions in the Kurdistan region of Iran.
