In the early morning of Wednesday, June 22, 2022, Sadegh Kanaani, another teacher and union activist in Sanandaj, was arrested by the Intelligence Service and taken to an unknown location.
According to an informed source, the intelligence services raided his house at 1 am and arrested him. Security agencies also searched his home and confiscated his mobile phone while arresting Sadegh Kanaani.
Also, Aram Ebrahimi, another teacher and union activist in Sanandaj, was detained by security forces at 2:30 am. Hengaw has been informed that another teacher has been arrested, whose identity has not been established yet.
Counting the two cases, now at least 7 teachers from Sanandaj, called Salah Haji Mirzaei, Reza Tahmasbi, Mohammad Reza Moradi, Ghias Nemati, Behzad Ghavami, Aram Ebrahimi, and Sadegh Kanaani, are currently being held in the detention center of the city's intelligence office.
