Recently, a Kurdish citizen from Maku identified as Mohammad Karbalayi, who was previously arrested by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, was transferred to Maku Central Prison after the completion of the interrogation process.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Human Rights Organization, Mohammad Karbalayi was arrested in the middle of spring by the Intelligence forces without providing any judicial document.
Hengaw was informed that Mohammad Karbalayi was deprived of the right to access a lawyer and family visits during his detention.
It should be noted that the security institutions have accused Mohammad Karbalayi of cooperating with one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the government.
