Ziba Omidifar, a reporter from Qorveh and one of the winners of the "Penoos" media festival, was kidnapped by Iranian government forces.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Thursday, December 8, 2022, Ziba Omidifar, one of the local journalists in Kurdistan, was transferred to one of the detention centers in Sanandaj after being arrested by Iranian government forces.
This journalist, who lives in Qorveh, won second place in the economic development section of the "Penoos" festival last year.
No exact details have been made available about the reasons for Ziba Omidifar’s arrest and the charges against her.
