Jalil Azizpour, an athlete from Ilam, was shot and subsequently abducted by Iranian government forces after being run over by a government vehicle.
Jalil Azizpour, 31, was abducted by Iranian government forces on a 24-meter street in the city of Ilam on November 29, 2022, according to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights.
According to the information obtained by Hengaw, the government forces shot live bullets at this civilian after striking him with a car, and they also refused the detainee the right to receive appropriate medical care.
The case of Jalil Azizpour has been forwarded to the Islamic Revolution Court in Ilam and the 101st investigative branch of the Public Prosecutor's Office, and he is facing the risk of being accused of "Moharebeh".
Currently, this citizen has been transferred to the central prison of Ilam and is denied access to a lawyer and visitation.
