Rehmat Qaderzadeh, a man from Sardasht who had gone to the heights of this city to collect spring plants, was seriously injured by a landmine explosion.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, around sunset on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, Rahmat Qaderzadeh, a resident of the village of "Sheikhe Sur," Sardasht, was seriously injured in his ankle and possibly amputated due to a landmine explosion.
According to an informed source, Rehmat Qaderzadeh had this accident while collecting edible and medicinal plants near Dole Bey village in Sardasht city.
This citizen was transferred to Khomeini Hospital in Sardasht for treatment and is under medical care.
It should be noted that dozens of citizens are injured and killed in the border towns every year due to the explosion of landmines and explosives left over from the 8-year Iran-Iraq war.
