Aatekeh Rajabi, a teacher from Mashhad who had engaged in a strike and abstained from attending classes during the early days of the "Jin, Jian, Azadi" movement, resulting in her dismissal from work, was arrested by government forces during a rally of teachers in Mashhad.
According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the morning of May 9th, 2023, government forces detained Aatekeh Rajabi, a teacher from Mashhad, during a protest rally of teachers in Mashhad.
According to the Coordination Council of Iranian Educational Associations, following her arrest at the rally, which was organized by the Coordination Council of Educational Associations, Aatekeh Rajabi was taken to an undisclosed location; her custodial status and detention conditions are unknown.
To object to the brutal crackdown and killing of the protesters, especially students. On September 24, 2022, Aatekeh Rajabi refused to attend the classroom and began her strike. As a result, she was deprived of the right to teach in schools in Khorasan Razavi province and was dismissed.
