The arrest and uncertain fate of Salah Beyazidi from Piranshahr

Salah Beyazidi, a citizen of Piranshahr, has been violently detained by Iranian government forces for the past 10 days, and his current fate remains undisclosed.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization For Human Rights, Salah Beyazidi, a resident of the village of Kani Khani in the Lajan district of Piranshahr, has been held in detention by the Ministry of Intelligence forces for a period of 10 days.

According to reliable sources, it has been reported that Salah Beyazidi was denied face-to-face meetings, legal representation, and communication with his family throughout the duration of his 10-day detention.

This source added that Ministry of Intelligence forces entered the residence around 2 AM during a raid, using intimidation by forcibly breaking the entrance door, and proceeded to arrest the individual with a high level of violence.

So far, precise information regarding the grounds for Salah Beyazidi's arrest and the charges against him remains unavailable.

Salah Beyazidi was apprehended on the morning of Tuesday, August 15, 2023, by the forces of the Ministry of Intelligence. Subsequently, he was transported to an undisclosed location.
