Nima and Mani Safar Saflaei and Majid Kalateh, all three from Gorgan, Saeed Fathi-pour, a resident of Fasa, Mahmoud Safdari from Bojnurd, Ali Heydar Aalizahi residing in Zahedan, Mohammad Moeini from Zanjan, Nader Safari, from Laft in Gheshm Island and Sajjad Zarea, a former political prisoner from Shiraz, have been detained by government forces.
According to reports received by the Hengaw organization for Human Rights, on Sunday, September 16th, 2023, Nima Safar, a poet and writer, Mani Safar and Majid Kalateh, residents of Gorgan, were detained by the Intelligence forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps at Nima Safar's private residence and were transferred to the detention center of the IRGC intelligence.
Simultaneously, Sajjad Zarea, a former political prisoner, was detained by the Intelligence forces in Shiraz and transferred to the detention center of the IRGC intelligence, referred to as Plaque 100.
Additionally, Mohammad Moeini, a blogger residing in Zanjan, was detained by government forces at his home and taken to an undisclosed location.
In continuation of the detentions on Sunday, Saeed Fathi-pour, 36 years old and a resident of Fasa in Fars Province was detained by the Intelligence forces at his father's residence in Fasa.
Mr. Fathipour, a day labor and a father of one had been previously detained during the November 2019 protests.
Mahmoud Safdari, a retired teacher and a member of the Iran Teachers' association, residing in Bojnurd in North Khorasan Province, is another detainee from Sunday, who was detained by the Intelligence forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and transferred to an undisclosed location. He had previously faced trial by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic due to his activities.
On the other hand, on Friday, September 14th, Ali Heydar Aalizahi, a 30-year-old Baluch individual from Zahedan, was brutally assaulted and physically attacked during detention by the Intelligence forces. on his way back home.
Moreover, on Thursday, September 13th, 2023, Nader Safari, a Sunni cleric and a teacher at the Sheikh Ziaei School of Religious Sciences in Bandar Abbas, was detained by the Intelligence forces at his home and taken to an undisclosed location.
After his arrest, he was subjected to severe physical abuse and transferred to the Intelligence detention center in Bandar Abbas, and his health condition is critical.
