A week has passed since the arrest of Erfan Barati, 17, from Bojnourd, by the government forces, and there is no information about his fate and whereabouts.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Erfan Barati, 17, from Bojnourd, the center of North Khorasan province, was arrested by the government forces on Saturday, September 16, 2023, on the first anniversary of the governmental murder of Jina Amini.
According to informed sources, Erfan Barati was violently arrested on one of the streets of Bojnourd.
After five days of the arrest of this teenager and despite the continuous follow-up of his family, there is no accurate information about his fate and whereabouts.
On the same day, at least 3 other students identified as Yekta Dodangeh, 14, from Tehran, Kavan Rezaei, 15, from Sanandaj (Sna), and Behnam Samouri, 17, from Dehlran, were arrested by the government forces, whose fate and whereabouts are unknown.
