The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stationed in the border zone of Hawraman region, have opened fire on a group of Kolbars, resulting in injuries to at least ten individuals. The identity of one of these Kolbars, Arman Salimi, has been confirmed.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the evening of Saturday, October 28, 2023, more than ten Kolbars, primarily hailing from the cities of Salas-e Babajani and Javanroud in Kermanshah (Kermashan) province, were wounded as a result of direct gunfire from government forces.

In the meantime, the identity of one of the wounded Kolbars, a 25-year-old from Marivan city named Arman Salimi, has been verified, while the identities of the other Kolbars are currently under investigation.

Video footage that has surfaced shows the injured Kolbars being transported to Quds Hospital in Paveh for medical treatment.

It is important to note that the border regiment of the Islamic Republic of Iran confiscated the merchandise carried by these Kolbars and subsequently incinerated some of their belongings at the border heights of Tata Hawraman.
