Sadollah Rasoulpour Sentenced to 9 Months in Prison, Transferred to Bukan Correctional Facility

Sadollah Rasoulpour, a 33-year-old protester from Bukan involved in the Woman, Life, Freedom (Jin, Jiyan, Azadi) movement, has been arrested and transported to Bukan central prison after receiving a 9-month imprisonment sentence.

According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights on Monday, December 11, Sadollah Rasoulpour was initially taken into custody following his summons by the execution of sentences branch of the general and revolutionary court of Bukan.

The revolutionary court of Bukan sentenced Sadollah Rasoulpour to 9 months of detention on November 30, 2023, charging him with "actions against national security."

Security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran had previously detained Rasoulpour on December 21, 2022. He was released on bail of 1 billion toman on January 3, 2022, pending the conclusion of his trial.
