Habib Rezaei, a 52-year-old Kolbar from the city of Javanroud, who sustained critical injuries from direct fire by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has passed away after seventeen days of hospitalization in Taleqani Hospital, Kermanshah.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights on the morning of Wednesday, December 13, 2023, Habib Rezaei, a resident of Javanroud, succumbed to his injuries inflicted during an incident at the border of Kermanshah (Kermashan), where he was seriously wounded by border regiment forces.
On the morning of Sunday, November 26, 2023, Habib Rezaei suffered a broken vertebrae and severe internal bleeding after being directly shot in the back. He was subsequently admitted to the special care department of Taleqani Hospital in Kermanshah.
The body of Habib Rezaei has been transferred to the hospital in Javanroud, and his burial ceremony is scheduled to take place at the "Haj Ebrahim" cemetery in the city.
