Incidents involving direct gunfire and rock throwing by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the Nowsud border in Kermanshah province resulted in injuries to Foad Karegar, Soheib (surname unknown), and Fazel Malaki. Similarly, another kolbar identified as Kazem Osmani sustained injuries due to direct gunfire from border regiment troops at the Bastam border in Sanandaj.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, three kolbars were fatally wounded as a result of direct gunfire and rock throwing from the armed forces at the Nowsud borders. The identities of these kolbars have been confirmed as Foad Karegar from Banehvoreh village of Paveh, residing in Javanrud, Soheib (surname unknown), and Fazel Malaki.

Sources report that Foad Karegar was initially taken to Paveh Hospital but later transferred to the ICU section of Taleqani Hospital in Kermanshah (Krmashan) due to the severity of his injuries. His overall health condition is reported to be critical.

Simultaneously, 28-year-old Kazem Osmani from Saqqez was shot by direct gunfire from border regiment troops at the Bastam border of Saqqez. Osmani was transported to Shafa Hospital in Saqqez to receive medical treatment.
