Extreme cold claimed two of Kolbar’s lives and sent another one to the hospital

Hengaw: Two young kolbars (literally “those who carry on their backs”) from the Chaldoran city lost their lives and one suffered from frostbite in Turkish border.

On Friday, March 1, a corpse of a kolbar which had been disappeared a few days ago was found. Another corpse had been found a day before.

The kolbars have been identified as "Farhad Naghshi" and "Taher Adibi" from the village of Isa Golik, Chaldoran.

Also, another kolbar named Behzad Khalili has been frostbitten and is currently undergoing medical treatment at Chaldoran Medical Centers.

Behzad Khalili was severely injured by direct firing of Iranian armed forces this summer.

According to the statistics at the Hengaw statistics centre, at least 12 kolbars were victimised at the Kurdistan's borders throughout February 2019, one of the Kolbars lost his life, and 11 were also wounded.
