Hengaw: A Kurdish citizen from Saqez was sentenced to one year conefinement by Iran's Judiciary on charge of cooperating with Kurdish opposition parties of Iran.

Over the past few days, Farhad Maleki Kurdish citizen from Saqez was sentenced to one year of nonsuspended confinement by Iran's Judiciary, according to the report of Hengaw Organisation for Human Rights.

The verdic was issued by Saqez's Revolutionary Court on charge of threatening the national security by cooperating with Kurdish opposition parties of Iran ( Communist Party) .

On February 14, 2017, on the way back to Sanandaj (Sna) Farhad Maleki was arrested by the security forces and a few months later released temporarily on bail.
