Hengaw: A Kurdish citizen from Kermanshah was killed by direct fire from the Iranian police forces in Karaj, Iran and his brother suffered a heart attack and lost his life after receiving the victim’s body.

According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, forces from a police station in the city of Karaj shot and killed a 35-year-old man from Kermanshah, identified as "Kourosh Heydari".

According to an informed source, police forces fired at Kourosh Heydari on suspicion of carrying drugs without any prior warning.

It is worth mentioning that on Thursday, after his body was handed over to his family, his older brother, also identified as Sam Heydari, suffered a heart attack and lost his life.

Kourosh Heydari had previously been imprisoned in Dieselabad Prison in Kermanshah for 7 years on the same charges and had gone to Karaj after his release.
