Hengaw: Mokhtar Asadi, a teacher from Sanandaj, was arrested after protests gathering in front of the city's education building.

At 6 pm, Saturday, February 14, Mokhtar Asadi, a member of the Teachers' Association of Sanandaj, was arrested by the intelligence forces of the city when he returned home and was taken to an unknown location.

He was released on July 9, 2018, after spending one year in Tehran's Evin Prison.

Mokhtar Asadi was arrested several times during the past years and he was also banished by the Kurdistan Provincial Education Office.
