During the demonstrations in the Kurdish city of Salas-e Babajani, a young man called Arin Muridi, 22-year-old was murdered by Iranian government forces firing directly at him.
Arin Muridi, 22, was critically injured by direct fire from the government forces during the Salas-e Babajani protests on Sunday evening, October 9, 2022, according to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights.
An informed source claims that after being brought to Hazrat Rasool Hospital in Javanrud, this adolescent was moved to Kermanshah owing to his deteriorating medical condition. He passed away this morning at dawn.
Hengaw was informed by a person close to Muridi's family that Mr. Arian had been shot in the chest and neck by government forces. Today in Arin Muridi's hamlet of Qolqoleh, there will be a burial service.
At least six additional civilians were hurt as Iranian regime forces opened fire on demonstrators in the border town of Salas-e Babajani in the Kermanshah province last night. This was the first time the town had participated in widespread demonstrations.
