 Hengaw: A Kurdish citizen who was seriously injured in a landmine explosion on the border of Oshnaviyeh district of West Azerbaijan province  in Iranian Kurdistan lost his life while being transferred to the hospital.

 According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, in the morning of Saturday, November 21, 2020, a 42-year-old citizen, identified as Aziz Ronama, was seriously injured and lost one of his legs in a landmine explosion in Oshnaviyeh border areas . 

 Reports indicate that Aziz Ronma lost his life due to the severity of his injuries while being transferred to Oshnaviyeh Medical Centers.

 According to an informed source, Aziz Ronma, a resident of Puliyeh village in Oshnaviyeh , stepped on a landmine while grazing his cattle in a region called "Hawareh Isk” near the city . 

 On Monday last week, a citizen from Sardasht, identified as Ahmad Mamandi, was also seriously injured in a landmine explosion and died after being taken to a medical center in Urmia due to the severity of his injuries.

 According to statistics recorded by the Statistics and Documentation Data Center of Hengaw Human Rights Organization, 5 Kurdish citizens have been  injured by landmine explosions on borders of Iranian Kurdistan in November2020, 2  of them lost their lives .
