According to statistics recorded by the Statistics and Documentation Data Center of Hengaw Human Rights Organization, at least 20 Kolbars and tradesmen were killed and wounded on the borders of Iranian Kurdistan during November 2020.
80% of whom were killed and wounded by direct shootings from the Iranian Armed Forces.
According to this report, 6 Kolbars and tradesmen lost their lives and 14 kolbars were injured, which have increased up to 25% compared to last month.
Most of the victims were from provinces of Kermanshah and West Azerbaijan, where 7 cases were registered in each during last month.
Cause of death or injury:
Direct fire: 16 cases (5 killed 11 wounded) equivalent to 80% of all cases.
Landmine Explosion : 2 cases (2 wounded) equivalent to 10% of all cases.
Natural incidence : 1 case (1 injured) equivalent to 5% of all cases.
Traffic accidents: 1 case (1 killed) equivalent to 5% of all cases.
Separation of victims by provinces :
West Azerbaijan Province (Urmia): 7
cases included (4 killed and 3 wounded).
Kurdistan Province (Sanandaj): 6 cases included (2 killed and 4 wounded).
Kermanshah province: 7 cases included (7 injured).
