20-Year-Old Kolbar Killed by Direct Gunfire from the Iranian Troops

A young Kolbar from Sardasht, West Azerbaijan province (Urmia), identified as Mehrdad Abdullah Zadeh, was killed by the direct shooting of border regiment forces.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Sunday, April 13, 2024, border regiment forces opened fire on a group of Kolbars in the mountains near the village of "Bitush" in the Sardasht district, resulting in the death of a 20-year-old Kolbar named Mehrdad Abdullah Zadeh.

According to Hengaw sources, Mehrdad Abdullah Zadeh, from the "Maraghan" village of Sardasht, fell from the mountain after being directly shot at and lost his life instantly.
