Iranian border guards shot and wounded at least 5 Kurdish Kolbars

At least five Kurdish Kolbars (couriers) were directly targeted and severely wounded by border guards of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The injured individuals are identified as Mohammad Rahimi, Moein Sharifi, Mohammad (last name unknown), Saeed (last name unknown), and Keyvan Darabi.
According to a report from the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Friday, April 19, 2024, Iranian border guards opened fire on a group of Kurdish Kolbars at the Nowsud/Paveh border in Kermanshah province, injuring three Kolbars: Moein Sharifi, 24 years old; Mohammad (last name unknown), both from Javanroud; and Saeed (last name unknown) from Safiabad village in Javanroud, Kermanshah Province.
On April 18, Keyvan Darabi, 20 years old, from Serpol-e Zahab, Kermanshah Province, was shot directly and severely injured in the leg by border guards at the Hangazhall border in Baneh city, Kurdistan (Sanandaj Province). He was subsequently transferred to Saqqez Hospital for medical treatment.
Additionally, on April 17, Mohammad Rahimi, a young Kolbar from Saqqez, Kurdistan Province, sustained severe leg injuries after falling from a height during a pursuit by Iranian armed forces at the Hangazhall border.
