Seven Kolbars killed and injured on the borders of Nowsud

Ayub Mohammadi, a Kolbar from Salas Babajani, Kermanshah Province, was fatally shot by Iranian Border Guards at the Nowsud border. Additionally, at least six others sustained injuries during the incident.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, On the morning of Monday, July 8, 2024, Iranian Border Guards at the Nowsud border in Kermanshah province opened fire on a group of Kolbars, injuring at least seven of them. 

According to sources from Hengaw, Ayub Mohammadi, a Kolbar from Salas Babajani, succumbed to his injuries after being admitted to Quds Hospital in Paveh.

Also, six other Kolbars named Masih Muradi, Ayub Muradi, Mahdi Bsharati, Mehran Abdi, Peyman Weisi, and Sami Zarei, all from the Ziran Village of Javanroud, Kermanshah Province were injured.
