Report on the Arrest, Torture, and Injury of Four Kurdish Kolbars at the Baneh Border

Four Kolbars from Saqqez, named Hawre Moradi, Diako Fattahi, Kamal Dastavaneh, and Kamal (last name unknown), were severely injured by direct gunfire from Iranian Border Guards.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Thursday, August 8, 2024, Hawre Moradi, Diako Fattahi, Kamal Dastavaneh, and Kamal (last name unknown), all from Saqqez, were arrested by the Iranian Border Guards at the Hangazhal border near Baneh.

Informed sources stated that these four Kolbars were initially detained and tortured by the Iranian Border Guards before being released and then shot at with pellet guns, resulting in severe injuries.
