A Kurdish Kolbar was Injured by Iranian Border Guards on the Border of Baneh

A Kolbar named Shahwan Moshhouri from Saqqez was severely injured while crossing into the Baneh border area by direct fire from the Iranian Border Guards. He has been transferred to medical facilities in Tabriz for treatment due to the severity of his injuries.

According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Monday, October 7, 2024, Shahwan Moshhouri, a 24-year-old Kolbar from the village of “Konesur” in Saqqez and a resident of Baneh, was shot by Iranian Border Guards at the Baneh border.

Informed sources indicate that Kolbar, who is married and a father of one, was hit by bullets in the leg, back, kidney, and liver, and was later transferred to medical facilities in Tabriz for treatment due to the severity of his injuries.
