Death sentence of three prisoners carried Out in Gorgan and Neyshabur prisons

 The death sentences of two prisoners, identified as Iraj Shabdiz and Ali Ahmadzadeh, in Gorgan Prison, and of one prisoner, identified as Jafar Farahani, in Neyshabur Central Prison, have been carried out. These individuals had previously been sentenced to death on charges of "premeditated murder" and drug-related charges. 

 According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the death sentence of 36-year-old Jafar Farahani was carried out at dawn on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Neyshabur Central Prison in Khorasan Razavi Province. 

 Additionally, at dawn on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, the death sentences of 40-year-old Iraj Shabdiz, a Turkmen individual from Gonbad-e Kavus, and 47-year-old Ali Ahmadzadeh from Gorgan were carried out in Gorgan Central Prison. 

 Jafar Farahani had been sentenced to death three years ago on a charge of premeditated murder, while Ali Ahmadzadeh and Iraj Shabdiz had been sentenced to death three and two years ago, respectively, on drug-related charges. 

 At the time of this report, the news of these executions had not been announced by state media, particularly by outlets affiliated with the Iranian judiciary.
