Five Balochs arrested by security forces in Sarakhs

Five Balochs, identified as Sarvar Olanj, Rasul Olanj, Eqbal Roudini, Mohammad Roudini, and Aref Roudini, were arrested four days ago by security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Sarakhs County, Khorasan Razavi Province, and transferred to an undisclosed location. No information about their fate is available so far.

According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Thursday, January 23, 2025, Sarvar Olanj (38 years old), Rasul Olanj (42), Eqbal Roudini (31), Aref Roudini (26), and Mohammad Roudini (19), all residents of the village of "Qosh-Sarbuzi" in Sarakhs County, were arrested by security forces and transferred to an unknown location.

Security forces stormed the homes of these five individuals, creating an atmosphere of fear and panic, and carried out the arrests with violence and physical assault.

It should be noted that, despite four days having passed since their arrest, the families’ attempts to obtain information about their fate and condition have yielded no results.

As of the time of this report, no precise information is available regarding the reasons for the arrests, or the charges against them.
