Kurdish kolbar loses life in avalanche in Hawraman mountains

A kolbar from Sarvabad, identified as Amin Hosseini, lost his life due to an avalanche in the border highlands of Sarvabad.

According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at noon on Sunday, February 9, 2025, Amin Hosseini, a resident of Darki village in Sarvabad County, died after being caught in an avalanche. His body has been transferred to medical centers.

Amin Hosseini, who was married and the father of four children, was caught in the avalanche while working as a kolbar in the Jalaneh Pass of Sarvabad County.
