Hengaw: Saturday, March 1, 2025
Two Balochs from Chabahar, Sajad Dehghani and Milad Gehramzehi, have been arrested by security forces for the past five days. They have been transferred to an undisclosed location, with no information available regarding their whereabouts or condition.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, Sajad Dehghani, 24, and Milad Gehramzehi, 20, both from Bafatan village, Sarbaz County, were arrested at their workplace on Ta’avon Street, Tohid Boulevard, Chabahar.
Haalvsh News Network reported that the arrests occurred during an armed clash between Iranian government forces and Jaish al-Adl militants on Tohid Boulevard in Chabahar. Despite lacking concrete evidence, authorities are attempting to associate people with Jaish al-Adl and its armed activities, heightening concerns over the fate of the two detainees. Reports indicate that two Jaish al-Adl members were killed during the clash.
Informed sources stated that, despite four days passing since their detention, the families of Sajad Dehghani and Milad Gehramzehi have been unable to obtain any information regarding their condition or whereabouts.
It is worth noting that Sajad Dehghani was previously arrested by security forces during the “Jin, Jiyan, Azadi” (Woman, Life, Freedom) movement in Chabahar but was later released from prison.
