Four Balochs arrested by Intelligence forces in Mehrestan and Chabahar

Four Balochs—Mansour Karimzai, Mohammad Askani, Meysam Karimzai, and Behrouz Karimzai—have been arrested by agents of the Intelligence Department in the cities of Mehrestan and Chabahar, located in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan Province.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, Mohammad Askani, 20, and Behrouz Karimzai, both residents of the Ashar District in Mehrestan, were arrested by security forces.
A day earlier, on March 25, Meysam Karimzai, also from Mehrestan, was detained in Chabahar by Intelligence agents.
Additionally, on Monday, March 24, Mansour Karimzai was arrested in the Ashar District of Mehrestan.
While Behrouz Karimzai was released a few hours after his arrest, the other threes—Mansour Karimzai, Mohammad Askani, and Meysam Karimzai—have been transferred to unknown locations. Despite repeated efforts by their families, no information has been provided about their current condition or whereabouts.
