Five Baloch men arrested and transferred to unknown location

Five Baloch men were arrested last week during a security raid in Khash County, located in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, and have since been transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Friday, May 9, 2025, security forces raided a residence in the village of Rahmatabad in Khash and detained Zahed Bolanzehi (32), Zia Bolakzehi (38), Ardeshir Bolakzehi (30), Aminollah Mirbalochzehi Ziroki (31), and Malek Bolanzehi. All five are residents of the villages of Temp Rigan (Iranshahr) and Rahmatabad (Khash).

The Haalvsh news outlet also reported that security forces conducted the raid and detained the five men.

Following the arrests, security authorities released an official statement claiming that the detainees were suspected armed robbers and fugitives who had been identified and apprehended during a planned security operation.

No detailed information has been made available regarding the charges, the men's whereabouts, or their current condition.
