Iranian border forces injure three kolbars in Nowsud

Three kolbars, including Karwan Almasi from Salas Babajani, were seriously injured when Iranian border regiment forces opened fire in the Nowsud border area. The identities of the two others wounded are still under investigation.

According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the incident occurred on the evening of Tuesday, September 23, 2025, when government forces directly targeted the group.

Sources reported that Almasi sustained severe injuries to his hand. The two other kolbars who were with him at the time were also wounded, though their identities have not yet been confirmed by Hengaw.
