Jafar Reghbati from Nazarabad (Karaj), Farzad Javanmiri from Qom, and Behnam Saberi, 28, from Pakdasht (Tehran Province), were executed in Qom Central Prison on Tuesday, October 7. Younes Mardani, 25, and Farhad Faraji, 27 — two cousins from Shahin Shahr, Isfahan — were executed in Isfahan Central Prison (Dastgerd) on Tuesday, September 30. They had been arrested about four years earlier on charges of “murder” of a bus assistant during an altercation described as “honor-related.” Both were later sentenced to death.
