Iran executes nine prisoners, including one woman, across multiple provinces

Iranian authorities executed nine prisoners, including one woman, in waves of executions carried out in the prisons of Malayer, Shahr-e Kord, Bushehr, Kashmar, Shiraz, Rasht, Sabzevar, Mashhad and Damghan. The individuals had been sentenced to death on charges of “premeditated murder” or “drug-related offences.”
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, officials carried out three death sentences at dawn on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. Reza Sabzi, a Lor man from Malayer, was hanged in Malayer Prison. In Shahr-e Kord Prison, authorities carried out the death sentence against Mohammad Karim Siyadi, a Lor man from Shahr-e Kord. In Bushehr Prison, they executed Ne'mat Behirayi. All three had been convicted of “premeditated murder.”
Kourosh Sabzi, Khodabakhsh Elyasi and Mehrdad Mirzaei, a 38-year-old Gilak man from the village of Chaperpard in Rasht and residing in Karaj, were also executed the same morning. Their death sentences were implemented in Kashmar Prison, Adelabad Prison in Shiraz and Lakan Prison in Rasht. All three had been convicted of “drug-related offences.”
Further executions that day included three more prisoners, among them a woman. Authorities executed Nour Mohammad Shabani and Elnaz Azizi on “premeditated murder” charges, while another prisoner, Hassan-Morad Haqi, was executed on “drug-related offences.” Their death sentences were implemented in Sabzevar Prison in Razavi Khorasan Province, Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad and Damghan Prison in Semnan Province.
State media, including outlets affiliated with the judiciary, had not reported any of these executions.
