Seventeen days on, no information on the fate of Abdolmajid Shabakhsh

Abdolmajid Shabakhsh, a Baloch man from Zahedan, has been held by Iranian security forces for 17 days, and his family still has no information about his fate or condition.
Based on information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Shabakhsh, 40, a father of five from Zahedan, remains in complete incommunicado detention and is being held under unclear circumstances.
Reports indicate that he suffers from health issues, and the total lack of information about his situation has caused serious concern among his relatives.
Shabakhsh was detained on 1 November 2025 when he went to a hospital to follow up on medical treatment. Security forces arrested him without a warrant, and his whereabouts have since remained unknown.
