Three Baloch brothers held in prolonged incommunicado detention in Mehrestan

Mobin Payam, 18, Meysam Payam, 26, and Mohammad (Riaz) Payam, 30, three Baloch brothers from Mehrestan in Sistan and Baluchistan Province, have been held in incommunicado detention by Iranian government forces for 187 days.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the three brothers remain in detention in a state of legal limbo, and their family has received no official information about what has happened to them.
Baloch human rights outlet, Haalvsh, wrote that the government forces arrested the brothers in the early hours of Tuesday, June 3, 2025, during a raid on their family home in Mehrestan.
The Payam family’s efforts to obtain information about the fate and situation of their sons have so far been unsuccessful.
No detailed information has been made available on the reasons for their arrest, any charges brought against them, or their current situation.
