Baloch brothers Mohsen and Ehsan Dehani arrested in Mehrestan

Iranian intelligence agents arrested two Baloch brothers, Mohsen Dehani and Ehsan Dehani, during a violent raid on their family home in Mehrestan County, Sistan and Baluchestan Province. The brothers were beaten during the operation and taken to an undisclosed location.

According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, plainclothes agents affiliated with the Intelligence Department of Mehrestan stormed the brothers’ home in the village of Siah-Tefaq on the evening of Thursday, May 28, 2026. Mohsen Dehani, 32, and Ehsan Dehani, 25, are both married.

Haalvsh reported that the agents assaulted the two brothers during the raid and arrested them without presenting an arrest warrant, legal authorization, or any explanation regarding the grounds for their detention.

Informed sources told Hengaw that family members immediately sought information from judicial and security authorities in Mehrestan following the arrests. They requested clarification regarding the reasons for the detention, any charges filed against the brothers, and their place of custody. However, officials reportedly declined to provide any clear information.

Their current whereabouts, legal status, and any charges against them remain unknown.
