Five Balochs violently arrested by Iranian forces in Golshan County

Five Balochs from Golshan County in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchestan Province were violently arrested by Iranian government forces during a security operation in the region.
According to information obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Ahmad Raisi, 19, Mehdi Raisi, 20, Hadi Raisi, 22, Nazir Raisi, 23, and Yahya Raisi, 28, a father of three children, were arrested on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, in Jalq, the administrative center of Golshan County.
According to the Balochistan Human Rights Documentation Network, the arrests were carried out with intimidation and physical violence. During the operation, Yahya Raisi sustained a head injury and suffered significant bleeding after being assaulted by government forces.
Family members of the detainees stated that despite repeated efforts to obtain information, authorities have refused to provide any explanation regarding their situation. They added that Yahya Raisi was transferred to a detention facility after receiving medical treatment for his injuries.
No information has been made available regarding the reasons for the arrests, the charges against the five men, or their current whereabouts and legal status.
