26 Kolbars killed or injured during September 2020

Hengaw: During September 2020, at least 26 Kolbars and tradesmen were killed or injured in Kurdistan border regions.

According to the statistics gathered by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, during September 2020, at least 26 Kolbars and tradesmen were killed or injured in Kurdistan border regions, 81 percent of which happened due to being directly shot at by Iranian and Turkish armed forces.

Six Kolbars and tradesmen were killed and 26 others were injured. Most of the victims are from West Azarbaijan Province. Last month 12 cases were reported in this area.
One of the Kolbars was killed by Turkish armed forces. 

Cause of death or injury:
Direct shooting: 21 cases (6 killed, 15 injured) it is 81 percent in total.
Car accident: 2 cases (2 injured) it is 7.5 percent in total.
Natural causes: 3 cases (3 injured) it is 11.5 percent in total.

Victims from each Provincial area:
West Azarbaijan Province (Urmia): 12 cases (6 killed, 6 injured)
Kurdistan Province (Sanandaj): 3 cases (3 injured)
Kermanshah Province: 11 cases (11 injured)
